We've been out of the house for a while now. We didn't have any way to prove who we were, and we had no place to live, so we've been focusing on that instead of the blog.
I haven't seen my friends for a while now. I've asked around town, but nobody with their names has ever stayed there. In fact, they claim no one with my name stayed around here, either. Maybe I was just forgotten. I don't know. It seems likely.
We have been getting notes. Todd's worried that it might mean something, but I'm not so sure. I may just be so used to getting the notes that I can't think anything of them.
But it's just so weird. And we can't tell anyone except those on this blog. It's just so... so... I don't know. Alienating, I guess. Like Todd and I have a secret everyone should know but no one wants to hear and no one believes.
You know, it's kind of strange. We've got our identities back in tact and everything, or at least as much as we could, but something still doesn't feel right. I know the house we used to live in burned down, or at least the top floor did. I may just be a bit paranoid. I had lived in that house for so long that it feels strange not to. Still can't get recording equipment though.
Our neighbors are strange people, though. On the first day, we got a knock at the door and through the window I saw a young girl running away. I open the door and on the ground was Todd's PSP, slightly burned from being in the fire but not too badly damaged. We both checked it out and found some disturbing audio/video/images on it. I was going to upload all of the files once I bought a new mini USB cable, but before bed I noticed Todd outside on the back porch smashing the PSP.
We've still been seeing the man, too, so Todd's called a paranormal activity organization to help us out. I don't know what that will do, but it seems to make Todd feel better about our situation so I didn't stop him. It'll be really interesting to see what plays out, so I'll make sure to write down everything said.
You know, it was awkward the first couple of days in this house. We had nothing, save for the laptop I managed to save just from the coincidence of having it in my arms and not plugged in to anything when the fire started and one small blanket we found in a closet. It wasn't much of a problem, but we had to sleep so close together those nights that either of us would wake up sometimes and we'd be hugging. It's still kind of empty here, but at least we have separate sleeping bags now.
I don't know what else to say... I think I should go.

Why
Todd was the mysterious person. I know this for a fact now. For days he wasn't letting me into his room, but today he finally opened the door. The walls were covered in what looked like notes. A few masks were scattered on the floor. Masks that weren't from the pile in the closet.
He's said he was sorry about a thousand times. I still trust him, but now things are different. I knew something was fishy when I found him on the floor with a mask on that day so long ago.. I just hadn't seen a normal person in so long, I never really thought anything of it. Never put the pieces of the puzzle together.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I can't help him very well. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I wish I could help him. Maybe I can't help him. Maybe I can. I don't know... I just don't know.
Do I care too much? I can't leave Todd's side right now. I know he wants to prove it's not his fault that things turned out this way. But
I think there's more than one mysterious person. We both heard a thump downstairs and found the door wide open. Someone other than us was here, and it couldn't have been my friends.
I don't think Todd and I will get any sleep tonight.

Sorry, again
We woke up one morning to find the laptop smashed. My friends have been scrounging round for money ever since. The new laptop had a camera on it yesterday when we were setting it up (we took pictures and everything as a test) but when we got up today the camera looked like it had been dug out with a knife. The images are missing, too. I guess that's that.
The other day was so odd... I woke up to find Todd standing outside. The REAL outside. He sounded like he was talking to someone, but when I looked out the window, he was alone. And sleepwalking. But that's not the point. We haven't bargained with the mysterious person at all lately. How Todd was able to stand outside in the REAL outside, we'll never know. I can't open the door without seeing weird Silent Hill world, so I knocked on the window hard enough to jar him awake. He came inside and told me he was outside, the real outside. Unfortunately, Todd doesn't know how he got there or who he was talking to.
Since the last post, all the notes have just said "TODD" and had a scribbling that looks like one or two of the masks in the pile that's accumulating in the closet. I should really find a way to get rid of those things.
Also, you wouldn't believe it, but Todd and I have been living together for so long it's almost like we can read eachother's minds now. Strange, huh?

Routine
I'm getting back into the routine of things. Less groceries means we can't trade things with the mysterious person any longer, but I can accept that. There wasn't much to trade food for anyway, not anything allowed.
You know, Todd's really getting into the creepy stuff now. He wasn't much of a fan or whatever before, but now he reads it every night. And just this morning he somehow got me into a discussion about something he called "Ben Drowned" or something. He said it involved my favorite game in the entire world, so I at least agreed to watch the videos and read the story tonight after it gets dark. Pretty stupid, if you ask me. He's actively trying to make me hate the game, I swear. It's creepy enough already...
Oh, and speaking of Todd, he was so happy to see me when he woke up after I got back... That he kissed me. On the cheek, thankfully (We're just friends. I've never thought of him otherwise.), but still. That was weird! I would have never guessed he liked me that much. I thought he was like he is because I was the only person around to talk to.
Got some notes, too. "OUT OF THE LOOP," (An image on my computer called "mprtntdoc.jpg" that, when opened, caused my computer to play the 'got an important item' jingle from some 8-bit game. The image was one long line from top to bottom of the image.), "FORGET WHAT I SEE," and "BELIEVE" (This one was written in a scrawly but recognizable form of Todd's handwriting). Again, I don't have any clue what any of it is supposed to mean. The last one having Todd's handwriting is kind of suspicious, but I've also seen the handwriting of notes go from unrecognizeable (Most of the notes) to one of my friends' handwriting (A rare few of the notes).
Oh my god, I left that soup on the stove, I think I better go turn it off before it boils over!

I hath returned.
I woke up here last night. Todd's been asleep for a while now. He doesn't even know I'm back. I watched the news a little and the police are trying to find me. They know of the first place I'd be, right here at home, but their raid of the house left them mostly empty handed. I don't understand how that can be, when I've been sitting in the exact room where they found a large stash of masks and took all of them as evidence (none of them are gone, by the way. All of them are still sitting in the closet).
Link arrived with a bunch of groceries about an hour ago, as if he forgot to go to the store this week. It wasn't as much as usual, but he made an attempt to explain what was going on. Not that I cared. For some reason, I'm just happy to be back. Where I was when I was out wasn't very pleasant. I don't want to talk about it in detail, but I WILL mention that it involved about 10 doctors thinking I'm mental and nobody answering my phone calls. And that twitter message I sent? Those doctors found out. Wasn't a fun day.
I see Todd hasn't been posting at all. Not surprising, seeing as the first few weeks of being totally alone besides some people you barely know are really hard. I mean, I'm used to it, but Todd's never had to sit, confined in a house, alone for weeks on end. Not that I know of. I should've told him the Twitter password. Maybe then he would've at least said something. But from the looks of his face (I see the burns from having that mask on his face have healed, so maybe he doesn't need bandages any more) I can tell he's been playing his stupid games too much. He probably got on and played all night, every night. I know I would have, if I were him.
I got notes while I was out, too. I don't see any evidence of there having been any notes here. I think the note phenomenon is centered around me, and Todd only gets them as an afterthought. It wouldn't be that far-fetched to say so. I mean, in this entire phenomenon, Todd is like the afterthought. The guy brought into the picture and nearly forgotten. He's gotten the least notes, the least crazy activity... I can't figure anything out from it right now... I'm still kind of foggy from whatever crazy drugs they were giving me while I was out.
I think Todd has woke up. I should go say hi.

This! Is! Insanity! *Kick*
I've been around, but not sure what to post. Anya usually helps me think of some content on boring days, but now everything's weird. I've left whatshisface a note saying I can't feed anyone except myself anymore, and I've yet to get a response. Somehow, I doubt that anyone's listening.
I think I've deciphered what happened, sort of. I don't know why, but someone (possibly our jailer. Yes, I'm calling him/her/it a jailer) took her away. To where? I'm thinking from the way Anya was talking that they thought her story was bullshit and her identity was fabricated, so they locked her in some crazy house with the genuinely crazy ones. Now, 4 or 5 hours away? That's a big stretch. May be so no one can identify her. I haven't gotten anymore calls or Twitter messages (Yes, I saw that), so I can't say if I'm right or not. Just a guess.
And I read an actual newspaper today, even though it was just one of those small town newspapers. Anya's friends brought it for me to see. Appears the police came and raided this place because someone saw some guy who wasn't with the cleaning crew (We don't have a cleaning crew, so what the fuck?) walking in and out of here periodically, but they found nothing. "Alister" says his girlfriend's brother said that at least one officer was holding a stakeout here. I checked the house but no one was found.
Oh, and I finally got groceries. Not too much. Just some packages of ham, bread, water flavoring, and about a ton of instant noodles. No soda, no candy, no breakfast food, not even a pack of gum. "Lizzy" said everyone's been on a financial crunch since "Paul" lost his job (this proves my suspicion that they all lived together) and they couldn't afford to buy me some damn groceries. Well, at least there's some food, now.

Hmph
Some things came up. Couldn't post, and I don't know the twitter password.
First, it's just me now. Anya disappeared. She said she was going to check the attic for something she hadn't seen in years, but she never came back down. I poked my head in there to check on her, but she wasn't there. Made a shitty meal to trade for info, and that was as useful as cryptic bullshit can be. "WILL RETURN" is all I got. What I'm thinking is that it means whoever took Anya from the attic (how? I don't know. I didn't hear anything and there was no sign of a struggle and I was sitting at the foot of the attic stairs -the only way into the attic- the entire time) will return her. But I don't know.
Second, Anya's attic is WEIRD. Fucked up, even. Old, almost ancient scribblings all over about seeing and darkness. I checked that entire place top to bottom to make sure she hadn't suffocated in a trunk or something, but once the light burned out I had to get the hell out of there. I didn't want to stay up there in the dark.
Third, I did get a call from Anya about three days ago. It sounded like a cell phone dropping a call. I could barely understand her, but she did say she couldn't hear anything from my end. She said she was dropped off about 4 or 5 hours away, and something about a mental hospital. I've been trying to call her back, but the phone hasn't been working properly.
Fourth? I don't know. It's been really lonely here. I didn't realize how bad loneliness was, before. Anya's friends didn't stop by like they usually do on Tuesdays when they bring a week's worth of food. Hopefully there'll be enough to last, but if I had known there wouldn't be more food this week I wouldn't have ate so much of it already.
I guess that's it. I'll just go now. Maybe I can wake up and this will be a dream.

Games
We found out that Todd's consoles cause the computer's internet connection to short out. It didn't stop him from playing all of his little Xbox Live games, but it DID stop me from getting on the internet.
What we found out about the tape was where Todd remembers it was in his dream. He found it under a half-open floorboard under a toppled couch. We checked, and indeed it looks like something was there, but it was just an empty hole under the floor now. We put that floorboard back and decided to offer it to the mysterious person. Left him a note that said "Take this and bury it in the backyard" along with lunch. Thankfully, he took it and we haven't seen it since.
Todd's been really into anime and manga lately. He had my friends go out with his money (The last $100 he had on him, too. It was a gift card, though) and buy him all these DVD sets and manga volumes. It was crazy. He got a LOT of Zelda mangas, and the DVDs were for stuff like Axis Powers: Hetalia and Azumanga Daioh. He claims he's going to make me read the manga and watch the anime, but I doubt he can make me. Though that Hetalia stuff looks kind of cute.
Other than the exciting stuff, there was a few notes gotten. I think some of them were covered in dried blood, but I can't be sure. They were really creepy. I can't even explain how creepy these things are. But there's nothing I can do about them, except file them away.
You know, nothing's really been happening since Todd showed up.

VHS
My friends all attempted to fix the tape. None of them could get it better than total static. They said that might be all that's on it. I couldn't do anything but agree with them. My friends aren't technical geniuses, but they know how to get VCRs to play troublesome VHS tapes.
To reiterate on the last post, I wouldn't have been three. I would have been two. I mean, I'm only three years older than Todd. Not four.
Anyway, back to the VHS tape. The title IS rather odd, but I'd bet that if all that's on the tape IS static, then it's just a scare tactic. I'm sure of it. It can't be real. It just CAN'T. It's impossible to go forwards or backwards in time, isn't it?

Holy Hell
I had the weirdest dream. I was still in Anya's house, but it was different. None of her furniture was around, and the furniture that was (it wasn't hers) was toppled everywhere. The place was a damn mess and both the front and side doors were open. I looked around for someone on the first floor, but nobody was around. All I could find was a VHS with a weird label, which I picked up. I began walking up the stairs after that, when I realized there was a mask on my face. I couldn't pull it off, either. I gave up after a moment when I heard someone. I tried to talk, but that didn't work either, so I peeked around the corner, into the bathroom. I saw someone there. They had a flashlight, so I couldn't see them well. My eyes were trying to adjust to the light. But when I was just about able to see them.. I woke up.
That dream was so realistic that I must have sleepwalked. I ended up waking up in the same spot I was in the dream. Anya said she had been calling me for ten minutes, but after that had found me walking around and was trying to wake me up. The damn VHS tape was in my hand. Anya said I was holding it when she found me.
We popped the thing inside some old VHS player we found in the attic, but all we could get it to do was play static the entire time (We tested the VHS with other tapes, and this weird one was the only one that didn't play). Since neither of us have any experience with getting broken VHS tapes to play, all we could do was put it away and ask her friends later.
Oh, and if you were wondering, the tape is labeled "Todd and Anya's Play Date, 1993 March 13, California". That's weird, though. I wouldn't have even been born, Anya would have only been 3, and neither of us have ever been to California. In fact, we've never lived in the same state.

Relief
The noise is gone. Thank god. It's finally gone.
Bad thing is that I saw that guy for the first time. You know. That guy. I saw him from the back as I was scanning the area. Anya can't believe I saw him full on, but it's true. I saw him. The moment the noise stopped, there he was, out in the garden. Bald as a baby's butt and looking like he was going to some funeral. Kind of like that bald guy on some show one of my friend's watched. Said the guy was an observer, but not of what. Kind of confusing, but same concept.
And as confused as I am about the situation, I'm actually okay with it. I actually kind of like it here. I know Anya probably thinks I'm a whackjob. Don't care though. Do not care at all.
But to be honest, I can't be alone anymore. As much as I'm okay with being here, I'm freaked out enough that being alone in a room is terrifying. Anya understands that and doesn't complain when I follow her around and attempt to join in on what she's doing, but it probably bugs her. A lot.
You know, I don't think our captor's goal is to make us fight, either. I think his goal is something tedious and not worth shit.

I'm back
I guess I'm back. I have no idea what's going on. My head hurts, I can barely sleep... Anya's said I was sleepwalking last night, but to where she had no idea because she stopped me and corralled me back to bed. I can really understand why I always thought she was so odd, now. It's because she has to live with all this shit that neither of understand, with the only contact to the outside world being internet, television, and some freaks neither of us even know can be trusted. I swear, the next time they come over I'm going to do things that aren't going to be told here. I don't even know if they read this blog, and if they do then I don't want them knowing my plans.
Then there's all these notes. Now, I've seen some of the notes from before, and they had a distinctly chaotic writing. These are different. The handwriting is different. I don't know if Anya notices it, but I do. Hell, my friends and I used to study different handwritings so we could forge signatures for school trips and all that. I really would know whether or not it's different. The messages are different, too. They're still cryptic, yeah, but fucking hell... It's like the "mysterious person" was replaced with freakin' Hannibal Lector. I could just imagine them being read in that kind of voice, too.
Damn this noise. Damn it. I can't think. Everything I've thought in the past ten minutes has been written down here. I'm not even going to check this thing for anything out of place. I'll leave it exactly as is. I think I'm gonna go now. I'm definitely going to go now. Man. This is bullshit. Fucking bullshit. Man, I'm gonna go. At least when I get off of here I have a friend who can give me working advice. Sorry guys, I know you try to help, but in this situation Anya knows best. Okay, so I'm just gonna go now. Maybe play a game or take a nap.

Things to do
After I left yesterday, I sat Todd in the living room and gave him some broth to drink while he watched TV. While he did that, I made a checklist.
1. Lock all of his horror games, ESPECIALLY Silent Hill, in the filing cabinet.
2. Take his flash drive and make all of his horror music on it HIDDEN.
3. Put up parental controls on the internet so he can't access anything that would make him worse.
4. Hide the key to the filing cabinet.
So I've done 1, 2, and 4, but 3 is being difficult. I can't search the ENTIRE internet and block EVERYTHING. I may just have to monitor his computer usage.
Poor kid. At least his face is getting better. Those bandages may be able to be permanently off in a week or so. I don't know, I'm not a doctor. But still, poor thing. I'm sitting in here with him while he's playing little nice games I've set out for him. Maybe it'll take his mind off of things. Though I didn't have quite the selection to choose from, video games helped me learn to drown out the noise. Unfortunately that DID have the unintended effect of making me have a headache. Not that it wasn't worth it.
Woah, he just threw the controller down. Better see what that's about.

Yup
Todd's going crazy. He finally hit the breaking point. I think the noise got to him. He broke down in screams and demanded we be let free or he would kill himself. So I rounded something up and tied him to the bed. He's right behind me, screaming his head off. He might be trying to drown out the noise. I don't have the heart to tell him it can't be drowned out. It would be better to let him keep at least part of his hopes up. But he'll figure out soon. After his voice gives out, I'm sure. It happened to me the same way.
I guess we'll end up exactly the same. I started off just like him: confused and worried. But I learned to live with it... Nobody's looking for me, nobody remembers me, and nobody cares anymore. I warned Todd it would be bad, but I don't think he understands how bad. I can't explain it to him in words. I guess I'll just have to let him see for himself.
Be right back. Todd's stopped screaming.
I think his voice finally gave out. He HAS been screaming for a little more than 12 hours straight. I think most of it's out of his system now. He promised not to do anything that would kill either of us, so I untied him. You know, he looks pretty much ready to cry. It's depressing. Unlike me, however, he can get a real hug instead of those fake doll hugs.
Oh my. Todd just tried to tell me he'd be in the other room, and almost nothing came out of his mouth. He had to write down what he was trying to say. But that reminds me. I'm going to go make Todd some broth then go join him in whatever he's doing. He looks like he needs some company.

What the fuck!
I keep hearing this freaky noise. It's like someone took a video, blasted the mic to pick up all sound, then distorted the fuck out of the audio. It's giving me a migraine and I can't even bargain with that stupid as hell grunt for it to stop! All I got was a note that said 'Not my jurisdiction'. What the fuck! I bargained again, telling them to MAKE it their 'jurisdiction' but all they did was ignore me.
And I tried calling the police. Nobody came, so after an hour I called again. They told me they got there and the place was a mess and nobody was around. I then had to give them my name and after a moment they were going to do an investigation because I supposedly gave them a fake name. What the hell is that shit about?!
Shit, I just remembered I had a fake name to begin with. No wonder my name didn't come up on google searches and why the police thought I gave them a fake name. Oh well. At least when the police do their investigation they'll be able to get us the fuck out of here.

Recap
Sorry about that guys. I was taking an Easter break and got wrapped up yesterday in a fun game called Portal 2. Todd says his family had a tradition of sending little Easter baskets with wrapped gifts (a la Christmas) and candy in them, so I decided to go with that. So I've been playing his games a lot lately so I'd know what to get him. I eventually decided on The Orange Box. I asked Link to go get it for Xbox 360, but he came back with the PC version since he couldn't find the other.
He opened his basket first, since I got to bed so late and he got up so early. I woke up with Todd playing Half-Life Episode 2 on my laptop and eating a giant chocolate bunny. I got up and opened my basket. Portal 2 for the Xbox 360 was in it, along with a box of Good and Plenty. So, since then that's all I've been doing. After a while, Todd got up and went in there with me to watch me play Portal 2, WHILE he played Portal 1. It was crazy, but at least we have something to talk about now.
Got a few notes in the meantime, but nothing big. Just the normal stuff. Haven't seen that man out of the corner of my eye for a while now. Either it's because I'm sitting lower than the window, or he's gone. Either way, it's wonderful to get a break from all of the stuff that's been going on.
I just realized something. Every time I get a note, Todd is in another room. I never see him find a note, because if he does, he's in another room. There's something about that that seems wrong, but Todd doesn't think there's anything suspicious about that. What if (and I know this may sound crazy) Todd is the mysterious person, and he doesn't even know it?
I should go. To find some proof.
EDIT: The title of this post didn't sound appropriate after looking at it for a second....

Huh!
Sorry, haven't been posting. I know, I know. But Todd wants the blog to have only one post per day, so it's been kind of weird. I know the blog should have more posts than I can manage, but Todd wants manageable nonsense. Going to try to get Todd to say one post a day per person, though.
And he's so neat, too. He's cleaned up this entire house in the time he's been here. Almost like a maid. He demanded demands for the mysterious person as payment. I gave them to him, but none of his demands worked. It appears that physical objects can't be obtained unless you already own them. I guess I'll have to get my friends to get what he wants, even though he hates them.
I don't get why Todd hates my friends so much. He says they freak him out somehow. They act normal to me. Well, relatively normal. I don't know what's normal nowadays. It might be black-clothed gothic crybabies and a group of people that all look the same because it's "unique" (And I still say, it's not to be in a group of friends that all do and wear the same things.) ... I have no clue.
Well, I stopped for a while just to make lunch. Needed to bargain for a replacement glass. The other day I heard something shatter while Todd and I were taking a break from playing some stupid game. Walked into the kitchen and a glass was shattered into pieces on the floor. And you know, I actually got the replacement glass AND an apology. I had no idea the mysterious person was polite enough to replace the glass even though they don't give us anything new.

Ugh
Anya explained just about everything, but I still don't understand. She's around here somewhere looking for ways to explain but I don't think I'll get it.
We bargained for a new TV today, didn't get that. So we changed the bargain to another fucking piece of cryptic nonsense. I don't even know how she survives this crap. Her friends are weird as hell, she talks to herself and doesn't know how to deal with other people.. I don't get her at all. We've been explaining eachother to eachother but it's like she doesn't explain enough! And then when she dissappears at night... Oh, it's like 2-3am now, she just up and disappears. It's weird enough that she says I dissappear, but she dissappears now too!
On another note... I don't know. I'm already going crazy and I've only been here for not too long. I mean, Anya's been stuck here for a year now. How she's stayed as sane as she is, I don't know. She's probably half crazy though.
Bored. Gonna go watch TV.

Weird
That's weird, Anya suddenly walked into the other room and started playing Bioshock. We both previously found that she doesn't like that game at all. Denial, much? The game's on full blast, too. It's funny. She's darkened the entire room and is screaming like every time there's a jump scare. I think she actually likes it, but I want her to play a little more of the game before asking. She MIGHT just be playing to make sure she doesn't like it. I can't tell but it looks that way.
I checked the news today, too. Nobody's looking for me. It's as if I never even existed. I googled my name and nothing came up for me. I tried to call my sister but when I finally got the phone to work my sis was saying things like she never had a brother, which is absolutely crazy in all hell. Fuck, I can't tell if this is one big joke or if it's real. And Anya wouldn't tell me anything about it. She'd get all quiet and look at me with this look as if she was saying 'shit dog, you're fucked' or something. I am going to get her tell me everything. Fricken a, this is fucked up.
Power's Back
Well, the power's been back and hasn't gone out in quite a while, so I'm going to attempt to type up a post.
It's been extremely dark around here. Not even the light of the outside helped. It helped a little that somehow Todd had some form of weak night vision. It was weird, sure, but at least we could get stuff done that way.
I heard someone walking through the house these few nights. It was terrifying. I knew it wasn't Todd, since it was around the time AFTER he was asleep. Todd never heard a thing, of course.
No notes, of course. Why give us notes when we can't read them? It was a relief.
You know, there's not much to talk about. All we did was sit in the dark draining the batteries in the laptop and Todd's handhelds.
